A Black Eye
I am so angry
There is a beautiful woman who comes into the grocery store I manage with her adorable twin boys. She always has a kind word for everyone around her.
She also carries a black eye about once a week.
Her husband comes in with her from time to time and smiles at everyone like he didn’t black the eye of his wife. It enrages me that she has lived in fear and pain for I don’t know how long.
If he doesn’t mind allowing other people to see the abuse what else is he doing? What else will he eventually do?
What bothers me beyond that is what happening with her twins. Does he hurt them on top of showing them how not to treat another human being? They started kindergarten this year will one or both grow up to abuse their spouse? If she left her husband today, would it be too late for them?
I hate this man who terrorizes his wife and children.
