Children of color who did not get the justice they deserved.

I want to thank each of you who has taken the time to read about these all-but-forgotten children. You are helping me get what happened to them out there. For most of the older cases, the monsters who took them are probably dead by now, but can you imagine how many children they took in their lifetimes? How many they killed? How about those who are still living and looking for another victim? They could be watching your child or one you know as they walk to school or play with friends. Maybe the next victim is one sleeping in their bed like Anthony, who I am getting ready to tell you about.

Anthony Murrill — Atlanta, Georgia, November 14, 1971. Anthony was 9 years of age. He is African American. On the night Anthony went missing he was sleeping on the top bunk with his brother in the bottom bunk. When his brother woke up Anthony was gone. Law enforcement treated this 9-year-old as a runaway. They would go on to speculate that this 9-year-old traveled to North Carolina where he was originally from. When they couldn’t find signs of Anthony in North Carolina they changed their minds and said he must be in Atlanta but still a runaway. His NamUs case #MP97297. They have DNA on file for Anthony. The Atlanta Police Department case number is 220301035. There isn’t an investigator…
