Tameka Lynch
Murdered and Missing Women in Ohio Part 6
Tameka Lynch was diagnosed with lupus. Her doctor put her on pain pills to manage her pain, and that started her dark descent into addiction. In her addiction, she would turn to sex work to support her family and addiction.
This wasn’t all she was. She was a daughter, sister, cousin, and friend. She also had the distinction of being a mother of three children. Tameka was loved, and she loved her family and friends right back. What happened to her is horrific and more than what law enforcement would want us to believe.
Tameka Goes Missing
Her husband was well aware of her sex work. Maybe when she went missing on the 16th of May, he gave her four days before reporting her missing on the 20th of May. On the 16th, he tells police that she left to meet someone at Donatos on North Bridge Street.
Eyewitnesses stated that she was seen in the area of Douglas Avenue and Fourth Street around 10 PM and again on East Second Street near Bridge Street at 9 AM on May 19th.
She wouldn’t be seen again until May 24th, 2014.
