You have stuck with me this far as I tell you the rest of the women who fell at the hands of Ted Bundy, and I thank you for that. We have only a little bit more to go. The last month we spoke about was October 1974. In November things would come to a head and investigators would catch their killer for the first time.
Carol DaRonch — November 8th, 1974
Carol was at the mall in Murray Utah when she was approached by a police officer who said his name was Roseland. He told her that her car had been broken into and she needed to go to the police station with him. He got her in his car and almost instantly he changed. He became cold and wasn’t talking. He also wasn’t going towards the police station but away from it. When Carol started to voice her concerns, he managed to get handcuffs on her and still she was able to jump out of his car and get help from a couple. The 18-year-old was taken to the police station where she told them what happened and had to sit through hours of looking at mugshots to find “Roseland”. They were unsuccessful in finding him.
